100 CUBIC FOOT INDUSTRIAL-GRADE BELL-LIFT KILN
Total installed savings over traditional construction methods can be as much as 50%.
L&L Kiln Mfg., Inc. announces the development of a line of large industrial-grade Bell-Lift kilns designed for industrial ceramics and other industrial applications. The first model is 100 cubic feet (66” wide by 47” deep by 54” high). Larger and smaller models can be built.
The kiln reaches 2350°F (1290°C or cone 10). The kiln is based on L&L’s sectional kiln technology with strong shallow arched sides. The elements are supported in L&L unique hard ceramic element holders which contribute to a trouble-free and easy-to-maintain kiln.
The entire kiln easily comes apart and can be assembled by in-house maintenance personnel. On-site assembly service is also available from the factory. The kiln moves up and down on a track by means of an electric brake winch. It can be loaded from all four sides.
Power supply is typically 480 volts with 277 volt elements on a wye system. The control is L&L’s time-proven three-zone multi-program DynaTrol. Various insulation packages are available as well as special bottoms, powered vents, special thermocouples and control packages.
Because of the modular construction, delivery can be as quick as 6 weeks and assembly and commissioning time can be days rather than weeks. The modular construction also keeps initial prices very reasonable and maintenance costs low.
Total installed savings over traditional construction methods can be as much as 50%.
